Probedrill have recently made some improvements to our Vibrating Wire Piezometer installation methods.
Single Installation – Inverted
We now have new disposable tips which allow us to install Inverted Vibrating Wire Piezometers where water levels are expected to drop below the sensor. By installing the Vibrating Wire Piezometer in an inverted position, it alleviates any concerns with regards to air bubbles that may be encountered when the water table rises again.
Installation at multiple depths – within the one test
We can now use our CPT Rig to install a maximum of three Vibrating Wire Piezometers down the one hole.
The advantages of this include:
- It takes approximately half the time then that to install 3 x Vibrating Wire Piezometers (via single installation);
